'Bridges - creatures in the landscape' is a photographic documentation project of bridges in Washington and Oregon USA as well as Vancouver BC. The pictures were taken between December 2008 and May 2009. The bridges are documented through the lens of an old Minolta film camera and the techniques of silver black and white photography.

“A bridge is an independent object, an artificial limb, a connection, a structure, a threshold, a transition, a boundary, a joint and a divider. A bridge leaves and returns to land transforming the physical landscape and moving the people over, under or observing it.”
