Texture and Improvisation

"Texture and Improvisation" is an exhibition of drawings in graphite and pen that were intended to investigate the surfaces of different materials.

The drawings are made by designer and illustrator Naja L. Jørgensen and result from the introductory phases of a variety of projects. During these early stages of a project, the drawings served as a kind of visual brainstorming on shape and the shapes' emotional dimensions.

Naja L. Jørgensen graduated in visual communication from the Danish Design School in summer 2010, specialising in illustration. She now works as an illustrator and graphic designer for Dagbladet Information and Mediefabrikken.
