The collections of Dansk Byplanlaboratorium (DBL)
Dansk Byplanlaboratorium’s library became part of our library's collections in 2007. The DBL collection comprises 18,000 books, 150 journals and approximately 13,000-15,000 blueprints. The collection is kept in our closed stacks, but you can order DBL materials via the Library Catalogue. They will then be delivered to the library and you will normally be able to collect them from the reservation shelf after 3pm the following day. Read more about the DBL collection.
Department of Human Settlements (DHS)
The Department of Human Settlements (DHS) is a part of KADK's Institut for Planlægning and focuses on city planning in the third world. DHS’ collection comprises about 3,000 books and journals, which have been accessible since 2007. The majority of materials are published in English and deal with topics such as urbanization, housing, planning and the environment – either on a general level or with regard to a particular country, especially African countries.
Searches in our Catalogue will automatically include results from the DHS collections. If you want to borrow materials from DHS you can either ask for assistance at the library information desk or call DHS directly at +45 32 68 66 43. You need to be a registered user of our library before you can borrow materials.
