Registration
Our library is a public research library. Its collections can be used free of charge and by everyone. If you are older than 18 years and can present valid Danish identification documents including cpr-number and Danish address (e.g. health insurance certificate), you can be registered as a user. You need to read and accept our rules and regulations before being registered.
Persons without permanent residency in Denmark can also apply for registration, provided that they can present a valid picture ID.

New users can register online via our Library Catalogue. It is possible to reserve materials immediately after registering online. Before borrowing them, however, you need to validate your registration by presenting your picture ID at the information desk.

You can also register directly at the information desk. You will be asked to fill in an online form and to present a valid picture ID. Both the Danish health insurance certificate and KADK IDs can be used as library cards.

Change of address
It is important that you inform us about changes of address immediately. Send an e-mail to Martin T.B. Bendtsen including your user number (in most cases cpr-number) and your new address. He will send you a confirmation as soon as your address has been changed. You can also login to the Library Catalogue yourself to update your address. There, you can also change your pin code.
