Self-service

Borrowing via self-service machines
Our library has two machines which you can use to borrow and return books. Once you have been registered with your Danish health insurance certificate or KADK ID, both kinds of card can be used at the machines.

Outside office hours, it is also possible to return books into the library’s post box.

Reserved materials
All reserved materials can be collected from the shelf behind the information desk, once they have been delivered to the library. They are arranged in alphabetical order according to the library user’s first name.

Change of address
It is important that you inform us about changes of address immediately. Send an e-mail to Martin T.B. Bendtsen including your user number (in most cases cpr-number) and your new address. He will send you a confirmation as soon as your address has been changed. You can also login to the Library Catalogue yourself to adjust your address. There, you can also change your pin code.

Renewals and reservations
All borrowed materials can be renewed up to three times, unless they have been reserved by other users. You can renew your loans and make reservations via our Catalogue.

New users
New users can register online via the Library Catalogue. It is possible to reserve materials immediately after registering online. If you want to borrow them, however, you need to validate your registration first by presenting your picture ID at the information desk.
